The region's most acclaimed jazz musicians return to the ever-popular Jazz in The Parks on the Great Lawn. This event, named one of the area's top spots for live outdoor music by Washingtonian, will open at 5:00 PM with a performance from Marsha and the Positrons. This DC-based kindie band is known for blending science facts with songs about kindness. Following the kids' opener, at 6:00 PM, vocalist Gracie Jay will take the stage, bringing a powerful, dynamic voice to the evening's headline set. Bring a picnic, blanket, and refreshments, or grab a bite from Takoma Station, J & J Taqueria, and Atlantic BBQ, with wine, beer, cider, and Aperol Spritz from Juneberry Garage. Free.
